The Del­hi Sub­or­di­nate Ser­vices Selec­tion Board (DSSSB) has announced a huge recruit­ment dri­ve for teach­ers. Through Adver­tise­ment No. 06/2025, a total of 5346 vacan­cies have been released for TGT (Trained Grad­u­ate Teach­ers) in var­i­ous sub­jects, along with Draw­ing Teacher and Spe­cial Edu­ca­tion Teacher posts.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Edu­ca­tion­al Qualification
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the sub­ject applied for, with at least 50% marks.
    • B.Ed. degree or inte­grat­ed B.Ed.-M.Ed. is compulsory.
    • CTET (Cen­tral Teacher Eli­gi­bil­i­ty Test) con­duct­ed by CBSE is mandatory.
  2. Age Lim­it
    • Max­i­mum age: 30 years (relax­ations avail­able for reserved categories).
  3. Nation­al­i­ty
    • Can­di­date must be an Indi­an citizen.

Salary

All select­ed can­di­dates will be placed in Pay Lev­el – 7, with a salary rang­ing between ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month, along with allowances.

Application Process

  • Appli­ca­tions must be sub­mit­ted online only.
  • Offline appli­ca­tions will not be accepted.
  • Appli­ca­tion Fee: ₹100 (Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-ser­vice­men are exempted).
  • Can­di­dates must ensure all details are filled cor­rect­ly, as no cor­rec­tion will be allowed after submission.

Selection Process

The selec­tion will be based on a Com­put­er-Based Test (CBT):

  • Sec­tion A: Gen­er­al Aware­ness, Rea­son­ing, Numer­i­cal Abil­i­ty, Hin­di Lan­guage, Eng­lish Lan­guage (100 Marks)
  • Sec­tion B: Sub­ject-spe­cif­ic knowl­edge and teach­ing method­ol­o­gy (100 Marks)
  • Total: 200 Marks
  • Neg­a­tive mark­ing: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
