The appli­ca­tion process for this recruit­ment was com­plet­ed in July 2024. BHU has now announced the exam sched­ule for the School Teacher Recruit­ment 2024. Accord­ing to the lat­est update, the exam­i­na­tion will be con­duct­ed from 13 Sep­tem­ber to 15 Sep­tem­ber 2026.

The age lim­it was cal­cu­lat­ed as on 12 July 2024.

• Min­i­mum Age: Not Applicable
• Max­i­mum Age: 30 to 55 years, depend­ing on the post

• CTET qual­i­fied.
• Max­i­mum Age: 30 years.

BHU TGT Teacher Eligibility

Total Posts: 29

TGT vacan­cies were avail­able in sub­jects including:

Eng­lish, Math­e­mat­ics, Urdu, San­skrit, Social Stud­ies, Sci­ence, Hin­di, Home Sci­ence, Vyakaran, Jyotish, Sahitya, Veda, Dar­shan, Music, Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion and Agriculture.

Gen­er­al­ly, can­di­dates were required to have:

• Bach­e­lor’s Degree in the rel­e­vant sub­ject with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. qual­i­fied.
• CTET qual­i­fied.
• Max­i­mum Age: 35 years.

Sub­ject-spe­cif­ic edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tions may vary. Can­di­dates should check the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for the exact qual­i­fi­ca­tion applic­a­ble to their subject.

BHU PGT Teacher Eligibility

PGT vacan­cies were avail­able for sub­jects such as:

Hin­di, Eng­lish, Math­e­mat­ics, Eco­nom­ics, Psy­chol­o­gy, His­to­ry, Dar­shan, Phys­i­cal Edu­ca­tion and Physics.

Eli­gi­bil­i­ty included:

• Mas­ter’s Degree in the rel­e­vant sub­ject with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. qual­i­fied.
• Max­i­mum Age: 40 years.

The detailed sub­ject-wise eli­gi­bil­i­ty should be checked in the offi­cial BHU recruit­ment notification.

BHU Principal Eligibility

Total Posts: 03

Can­di­dates apply­ing for the Prin­ci­pal post were required to have:

• Mas­ter’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. qual­i­fied.
• Required teaching/administrative expe­ri­ence as pre­scribed in the notification.
• Age: 35 to 55 years.

BHU School Teacher Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process

The selec­tion pro­ce­dure for the posts of PRT, TGT, PGT and Prin­ci­pal will be con­duct­ed accord­ing to the rules men­tioned in the BHU recruit­ment notification.

How to Check BHU School Teacher Exam Schedule 2026

1. Vis­it the offi­cial BHU website.
2. Open the Recruit­ment & Assess­ment Cell section.
3. Find the noti­fi­ca­tion relat­ed to School Teacher Recruit­ment 2024.
4. Open the lat­est exam sched­ule notice.
5. Check your post and exam­i­na­tion date.
6. Down­load and save the exam sched­ule for future reference.
7. Down­load the admit card once it is released.

Documents to Carry to the Examination

Can­di­dates should car­ry the fol­low­ing doc­u­ments as instruct­ed in the admit card:

• Print­ed copy of BHU Admit Card.
