Can­di­dates must ful­fill the edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion pre­scribed for the CSIR UGC NET examination.

Gen­er­al­ly, can­di­dates should have a rel­e­vant post­grad­u­ate degree or equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion with the required per­cent­age of marks.

General and OBC Candidates

• Master’s degree or equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion with at least 55% marks.

SC, ST and PH Candidates

• Master’s degree or equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion with at least 50% marks.

Can­di­dates hold­ing an inte­grat­ed course, B.E., B.Tech., B.Pharma., MBBS or oth­er accept­ed qual­i­fi­ca­tions may also be eli­gi­ble, sub­ject to the con­di­tions men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.
