How to Prepare for DSSSB Advt. 03/2026

Step 1: Identify Your Post Code

First check whether your post falls under:

  • One Tier General
  • One Tier Technical
  • One Tier Technical/Teaching

Step 2: Complete Section‑A

For Technical and Teaching posts, prepare the five common subjects:

General Awareness + Reasoning + Maths + Hindi + English

Step 3: Give More Time to Section‑B

Section‑B carries 100 marks, equal to the complete Section‑A. Therefore, candidates should not ignore the domain subject.

Step 4: Practice MCQs

Because the examination is objective-based and has negative marking, practice mock tests and previous DSSSB-style questions regularly.

Step 5: Revise Your Core Qualification Subject

For technical posts, prepare the subject areas connected with the qualification prescribed for your particular post code.

Important Note About the DSSSB Syllabus

DSSSB Advertisement No. 03/2026 officially defines the exam structure and Section‑B as the subject concerned according to the prescribed qualification. It does not provide one identical detailed chapter-wise domain syllabus for all 25 post codes. Therefore, candidates should not study the same technical subject for every post.

The Board also reserves the right to change or amend the examination scheme before the examination.
