Indi­an Oil Cor­po­ra­tion Lim­it­ed (IOCL) has released the noti­fi­ca­tion for Mar­ket­ing Divi­sion North­ern Region Appren­tices Recruit­ment 2026. A total of 433 Appren­tice vacan­cies are avail­able across Del­hi, Haryana, Pun­jab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandi­garh, Jam­mu & Kash­mir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Eli­gi­ble can­di­dates can sub­mit their appli­ca­tions online from 07 August 2026 to 06 Sep­tem­ber 2026. The recruit­ment includes Tech­ni­cian Appren­tice, Trade Appren­tice, Grad­u­ate Appren­tice and Trade Appren­tice – Data Entry Oper­a­tor (DEO) positions.

Can­di­dates should read the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion care­ful­ly before apply­ing to under­stand the edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion, age lim­it, state-wise vacan­cies, selec­tion pro­ce­dure and oth­er impor­tant conditions.

Application Fee

There is no appli­ca­tion fee for IOCL Mar­ket­ing Divi­sion North­ern Region Appren­tices Recruit­ment 2026.

IOCL Apprentices Age Limit

The age will be cal­cu­lat­ed as on 31 August 2026.

• Min­i­mum Age: 18 Years
• Max­i­mum Age: 24 Years
• Age relax­ation will be avail­able to eli­gi­ble reserved cat­e­gories as per IOCL appren­tice­ship rules.

IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility

The edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion depends on the appren­tice­ship category.

Technician Apprentice

Can­di­dates should have a 3‑year Diplo­ma in the rel­e­vant engi­neer­ing dis­ci­pline, such as:

• Mechan­i­cal Engineering
• Elec­tri­cal Engineering
• Instru­men­ta­tion Engineering
• Civ­il Engineering
• Elec­tri­cal & Elec­tron­ics Engineering
• Elec­tron­ics Engineering

Gen­er­al­ly, can­di­dates should have secured 50% marks. The pre­scribed relax­ation applies to eli­gi­ble SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Trade Apprentice

Can­di­dates should have:

• Passed 10th / Matric­u­la­tion.
• Com­plet­ed a 2‑year ITI course in the rel­e­vant trade.
• ITI qual­i­fi­ca­tion must be rec­og­nized by NCVT/SCVT.

Rel­e­vant trades include Fit­ter, Elec­tri­cian, Elec­tron­ics Mechan­ic, Instru­ment Mechan­ic, Machin­ist and oth­er pre­scribed trades.

Graduate Apprentice

Can­di­dates should pos­sess a Bach­e­lor’s Degree such as:

• BBA
• BA
• B.Com
• B.Sc.

The degree must be from a rec­og­nized university/institution. The required per­cent­age varies accord­ing to the can­di­date’s category.

Trade Apprentice – DEO

Can­di­dates should have:

• Passed Class 12th.
• Qual­i­fi­ca­tion should be below the grad­u­ate level.

Trade Apprentice – DEO with Skill Certificate

Can­di­dates should have:

• Passed Class 12th and should not be a graduate.
• Domes­tic Data Entry Oper­a­tor Skill Cer­tifi­cate with one-year training.
• The cer­tifi­cate should be issued by an NSQF/Central Gov­ern­ment rec­og­nized authority.

A total of 433 Appren­tice posts are avail­able across nine states/UTs.

IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

Can­di­dates will be select­ed accord­ing to the appren­tice­ship recruit­ment pro­ce­dure pre­scribed by IOCL. The process gen­er­al­ly involves short­list­ing based on qual­i­fy­ing exam­i­na­tion marks and doc­u­ment ver­i­fi­ca­tion, sub­ject to the con­di­tions men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.

Can­di­dates should keep all orig­i­nal cer­tifi­cates and sup­port­ing doc­u­ments ready for verification.

How to Apply for IOCL Apprentices Recruitment 2026

Eli­gi­ble can­di­dates can apply online between 07 August 2026 and 06 Sep­tem­ber 2026.

Fol­low these steps:

1. Vis­it the offi­cial IOCL appren­tice­ship recruit­ment portal.
2. Read the com­plete recruit­ment noti­fi­ca­tion carefully.
3. Check your eli­gi­bil­i­ty for the desired appren­tice­ship category.
4. Com­plete the required reg­is­tra­tion on the rel­e­vant appren­tice­ship por­tal, such as NAPS/NATS, wher­ev­er applicable.
5. Enter your per­son­al and edu­ca­tion­al details correctly.
6. Select the appro­pri­ate state, dis­ci­pline and appren­tice­ship option.
7. Upload the required doc­u­ments, pho­to­graph and oth­er details.
8. Review the appli­ca­tion care­ful­ly before sub­mit­ting it.
9. Sub­mit the final appli­ca­tion with­in the pre­scribed deadline.
10. Save or print the sub­mit­ted appli­ca­tion for future reference.

Important Instructions

Before sub­mit­ting the appli­ca­tion, can­di­dates should ver­i­fy their eli­gi­bil­i­ty, qual­i­fi­ca­tion, age and state-wise vacan­cy details. All infor­ma­tion entered in the appli­ca­tion should match the can­di­date’s orig­i­nal documents.

Can­di­dates should also com­plete any required NAPS/NATS reg­is­tra­tion before apply­ing through the pre­scribed IOCL process.
