The Rail­way Recruit­ment Board (RRB) has announced the Junior Engi­neer (JE) Recruit­ment 2026 under CEN 04/2026. Through this recruit­ment dri­ve, RRB will fill 4,098 vacan­cies for Junior Engi­neer (JE), Depot Mate­r­i­al Super­in­ten­dent, and Chem­i­cal & Met­al­lur­gi­cal Assis­tant posts across var­i­ous Rail­way Zones.

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹400 will be refunded.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Female: Full ₹250 will be refunded.

Age Limit (As on 01 January 2027)

• Min­i­mum Age: 18 Years
• Max­i­mum Age: 33 Years

Selection Process

The RRB JE Recruit­ment 2026 selec­tion process gen­er­al­ly includes:

1. Com­put­er Based Test (CBT‑I)
2. Com­put­er Based Test (CBT-II)
3. Doc­u­ment Verification
4. Med­ical Examination

Can­di­dates must qual­i­fy each stage to be con­sid­ered for final selection.

Salary

Select­ed can­di­dates will be appoint­ed under Level‑6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with applic­a­ble allowances and Rail­way ben­e­fits as per gov­ern­ment rules.

2. Com­plete the One-Time Reg­is­tra­tion (OTR), if not already registered.
3. Log in using your reg­is­tra­tion credentials.

5. Upload your pho­to­graph, sig­na­ture, and required documents.
6. Pay the appli­ca­tion fee through the avail­able online pay­ment modes.
7. Review all entered details before sub­mit­ting the application.
