Sashas­tra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the Con­sta­ble Trades­man Recruit­ment 2026 noti­fi­ca­tion for a total of 827 vacan­cies in dif­fer­ent trades. The recruit­ment includes posts such as Dri­ver, Vet­eri­nary, Gard­ner, Water Car­ri­er, Cob­bler, Tai­lor, Wash­er­man, Bar­ber, Wait­er, Car­pen­ter and Nurs­ing Orderly.

Can­di­dates who sub­mit­ted their appli­ca­tions dur­ing the recruit­ment peri­od can now down­load their SSB Con­sta­ble Trades­man PET/PST Admit Card 2026. The Phys­i­cal Effi­cien­cy Test (PET) and Phys­i­cal Stan­dard Test (PST) are sched­uled to begin in the third week of August 2026.

The exam­i­na­tion fee, wher­ev­er applic­a­ble, could be paid through Deb­it Card, Cred­it Card, Net Bank­ing or UPI.

The age lim­it is cal­cu­lat­ed as on 01 July 2026.

• Min­i­mum Age: 18 Years
• Max­i­mum Age: 23 Years for most posts
• Max­i­mum Age: 25 Years for Carpenter
• Max­i­mum Age: 27 Years for Con­sta­ble Dri­ver, Nurs­ing Order­ly and Vet­eri­nary posts
