Reg­is­tra­tion Will Com­mence for Eco­nom­i­cal­ly Weak­er Sec­tion and Dis­ad­van­taged Group Cat­e­go­ry Soon. Under EWS Admis­sion scheme, par­ents annu­al income must be less than 1 lakh. Age limit

Age Crit­era for EWS Admis­sion 2023–24 is giv­en below. Stu­dents must have below age as on 31/03/2023.

Pre-School/nurs­ery 3–5 Years
Pre-Pri­ma­ry/KG 4–6 Years
Class‑I 5–7 Years

Eligibility Criteria

Chil­dren with par­ents who earn less than 1 lakh rupees per year are eli­gi­ble for admis­sion. Par­ents need to show income cer­tifi­cate for same. Income Cer­tifi­cate is not manda­to­ry for DG Cat­e­go­ry Stu­dent. Aside from the gen­er­al cat­e­go­ry, there is a 25% reser­va­tion who are exempt from pay­ing the costs. 

DG Cat­e­go­ry is relat­ed to Dis­abil­i­ty Group cat­e­go­ry SC Cat­e­go­ry and OBC Cat­e­go­ry both are valid for this cat­e­go­ry admission.

Seats Reservation

At the entry lev­el, a min­i­mum of 25% of the total seats in pri­vate schools are reserved. 

This is in accor­dance with the Right to Edu­ca­tion Act of 2009.

Admission Process for EWS Admission 2023–24

1. vis­it edudel.nic.in Direc­torate of Edu­ca­tion Del­hi website. 
2. Read all the instruc­tions giv­en on web­site care­ful­ly before apply­ing the form.
3. Click on ‘Reg­is­tra­tion for New User’, fill all cre­den­tials.
4. Choose class and fill all below details.
5. Click on Reg­is­ter and then you will receive reg­is­tra­tion num­ber and pass­word, save it for future purpose.
6. After the reg­is­tra­tion, login with same details.
7. Fill all required details and com­plete the appli­ca­tion form.
8. Sub­mit and take print of appli­ca­tion for future purpose.
