The online appli­ca­tion process is sched­uled to begin on 17 August 2026. Can­di­dates inter­est­ed in appear­ing for Bihar STET 2026 should check the eli­gi­bil­i­ty require­ments, age lim­it, paper-wise qual­i­fi­ca­tion, appli­ca­tion fee and oth­er instruc­tions before sub­mit­ting the online form.

The exam­i­na­tion will be con­duct­ed through Paper I and Paper II, with can­di­dates able to apply for one or both papers accord­ing to their edu­ca­tion­al qualification.

Bihar STET 2026 Age Limit

• Min­i­mum Age: 18 Years
• Max­i­mum Age – Male: 37 Years
• Max­i­mum Age – Female: 40 Years

Bihar STET 2026 Educational Qualification

Eli­gi­bil­i­ty varies accord­ing to the paper and sub­ject select­ed by the candidate.

Paper I – Secondary Level

Can­di­dates may be eli­gi­ble through one of the pre­scribed com­bi­na­tions, including:

• Bach­e­lor’s Degree in the rel­e­vant sub­ject with 50% marks along with B.Ed.
• Mas­ter’s Degree in the rel­e­vant sub­ject along with B.Ed.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks with B.Ed. as per applic­a­ble NCTE norms.
• Four-year BA B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. qualification.

Sub­ject-wise qual­i­fi­ca­tion may dif­fer, so can­di­dates should care­ful­ly check the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion before applying.

Paper II – Senior Secondary Level

Can­di­dates may be eli­gi­ble through qual­i­fi­ca­tions such as:

• Mas­ter’s Degree in the rel­e­vant sub­ject with 50% marks along with B.Ed. / BA B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed.
• Mas­ter’s Degree with at least 45% marks with B.Ed. as per applic­a­ble NCTE norms.
• Mas­ter’s Degree with 55% marks along with the pre­scribed three-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

For com­plete sub­ject-wise eli­gi­bil­i­ty, can­di­dates must refer to the offi­cial Bihar STET 2026 notification.

Documents Required for Bihar STET Application

Before start­ing the online appli­ca­tion, can­di­dates should keep the required doc­u­ments ready, such as:

• Recent pass­port-size pho­to­graph with a white/light background
• Scanned sig­na­ture
• Class 10th mark­sheet and cer­tifi­cate for date of birth
• Class 12th cer­tifi­cate and marksheet

The appli­ca­tion process will be avail­able online from 17 August 2026.

Fol­low these steps:

1. Vis­it the offi­cial BSEB/STET appli­ca­tion portal.
2. Open the Bihar STET 2026 Apply Online link.
3. Com­plete the reg­is­tra­tion using the required details.
4. Log in with the reg­is­tra­tion credentials.
5. Select the appro­pri­ate paper and subject.
6. Enter per­son­al, edu­ca­tion­al and oth­er required information.
7. Upload the pho­to­graph, sig­na­ture and sup­port­ing documents.
8. Pay the applic­a­ble exam­i­na­tion fee online.
9. Care­ful­ly review the com­plete appli­ca­tion form.
10. Sub­mit the application.
11. Down­load and print the final appli­ca­tion con­fir­ma­tion for future reference.

Bihar STET 2026 Examination

Bihar STET 2026 will be con­duct­ed for two levels:

• Paper I: Sec­ondary level
