PFRDA Grade A Eligibility 2026

The edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion varies accord­ing to the Assis­tant Man­ag­er stream.

1. Officer Grade A – General

Can­di­dates should pos­sess any one of the qual­i­fi­ca­tions pre­scribed by PFRDA, including:

• Mas­ter’s Degree or 2‑year PG Diplo­ma in any dis­ci­pline, or
• Bach­e­lor’s Degree in Law (LLB), or
• Engi­neer­ing Degree, or
• ACA / FCA / ACS / FCS / ACMA / FCMA / CFA qualification.

Can­di­dates should check the noti­fi­ca­tion for the com­plete qual­i­fi­ca­tion requirements.

2. Officer Grade A – Research

Can­di­dates should have a Mas­ter’s Degree or 2‑year PG Diplo­ma in rel­e­vant dis­ci­plines such as:

• Eco­nom­ics
• Com­merce
• Busi­ness Administration
• Econo­met­rics
• Finance
• Sta­tis­tics
• Math­e­mat­ics
• Data Sci­ence

3. Officer Grade A – Actuary

Can­di­dates should have a Bach­e­lor’s Degree from a rec­og­nized university/institute along with Pass/Exemption in all sev­en Core Prin­ci­ples sub­jects of the Insti­tute of Actu­ar­ies of India (IAI), as prescribed.

4. Officer Grade A – Official Language (Rajbhasha)

Can­di­dates should pos­sess the pre­scribed Mas­ter’s Degree com­bi­na­tion involv­ing Hindi/Hindi Trans­la­tion and Eng­lish, or the spec­i­fied com­bi­na­tions involv­ing San­skrit, Eng­lish, Eco­nom­ics or Com­merce with Hin­di at Bach­e­lor’s level.

PFRDA Grade A Selection Process 2026

The selec­tion process for Offi­cer Grade A Assis­tant Man­ag­er recruit­ment includes the stages pre­scribed by PFRDA:

Phase I Exam­i­na­tion → Phase II Exam­i­na­tion → Inter­view → Final Selection
