Educational Qualification – SSC Junior / Senior Hindi Translator 2025

Can­di­dates were required to meet the edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tions pre­scribed for their respec­tive posts.

1. Junior Trans­la­tion Offi­cer (JTO), Junior Hin­di Trans­la­tor (JHT) and Junior Trans­la­tor (JT)

Appli­cants must ful­fil one of the fol­low­ing edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion conditions:

• Mas­ter’s degree in Hin­di or Eng­lish, with Eng­lish or Hin­di as a com­pul­so­ry or elec­tive sub­ject at degree lev­el; OR
• Mas­ter’s degree in any sub­ject oth­er than Hin­di or Eng­lish, with Hin­di or Eng­lish as a com­pul­so­ry or elec­tive sub­ject at degree lev­el and Eng­lish or Hin­di as the medi­um of exam­i­na­tion; along with a recog­nised diplo­ma or cer­tifi­cate course in trans­la­tion from Hin­di to Eng­lish and vice ver­sa, or two years of trans­la­tion experience.

2. Senior Hin­di Trans­la­tor (SHT) / Senior Trans­la­tor (ST)

Can­di­dates must pos­sess the pre­scribed Mas­ter’s degree qual­i­fi­ca­tion in Hin­di or Eng­lish, or a Mas­ter’s degree in anoth­er sub­ject with the required Hin­di and Eng­lish lan­guage com­bi­na­tion, along with:

• A recog­nised diplo­ma or cer­tifi­cate course in trans­la­tion from Hin­di to Eng­lish and vice ver­sa; OR
• Three years of rel­e­vant trans­la­tion experience.

3. Sub Inspec­tor (Hin­di Trans­la­tor), CRPF

Can­di­dates must meet the pre­scribed Mas­ter’s degree and trans­la­tion qual­i­fi­ca­tion or expe­ri­ence require­ments men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.
