The Uttar Pradesh Pub­lic Ser­vice Com­mis­sion (UPPSC) has released the noti­fi­ca­tion for the Com­bined State/Upper Sub­or­di­nate Ser­vices Exam­i­na­tion 2025, along with the Assis­tant Con­ser­va­tor of For­est (ACF) and Range For­est Offi­cer (RFO) Exam­i­na­tion 2025. Can­di­dates who appeared in the UPPSC recruit­ment exam­i­na­tion can now check and down­load the Mains Result 2026.

UPPSC PCS 2025 Eligibility

Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services

Can­di­dates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a rec­og­nized uni­ver­si­ty in India.

Addi­tion­al edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tions may be required for spe­cif­ic posts. Can­di­dates should check the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for post-wise eligibility.

Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF)

Can­di­dates must pos­sess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least one of the fol­low­ing subjects:

  • Botany
  • Zool­o­gy
  • Chem­istry
  • Physics
  • Math­e­mat­ics
  • Geol­o­gy
  • Forestry
  • Sta­tis­tics

A Bachelor’s Degree in Agri­cul­ture or Engi­neer­ing is also accept­ed as men­tioned in the notification.

Range Forest Officer (RFO)

Can­di­dates must pos­sess a Bachelor’s Degree with one or more of the fol­low­ing subjects:

UPPSC PCS 2025 Post-Wise Eligibility

1. District Administrative Officer

  • Master’s Degree in any sub­ject from a rec­og­nized uni­ver­si­ty in India.

2. Labour Enforcement Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Eco­nom­ics, Soci­ol­o­gy or Commerce.
  • Post­grad­u­ate Diplo­ma or Post­grad­u­ate Degree in Law, Labour Rela­tions, Labour Wel­fare, Labour Law, Com­merce, Soci­ol­o­gy, Social Work, Social Wel­fare, Trade Man­age­ment or Per­son­nel Management.

3. Food Safety Officer

A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following:

  • Food Tech­nol­o­gy
  • Dairy Tech­nol­o­gy
  • Biotech­nol­o­gy
  • Oil Tech­nol­o­gy
  • Agri­cul­tur­al Science
  • Vet­eri­nary Sciences
  • Bio­chem­istry
  • Micro­bi­ol­o­gy

A post­grad­u­ate degree in Chem­istry or a degree in Med­i­cine may also be accept­ed as per the notification.

4. Assistant Director / District Audit Officer / Senior Lecturer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Com­merce, com­mon­ly B.Com.
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Hin­di writ­ten in Devana­gari script.

5. Sub Registrar

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Hin­di writ­ten in Devana­gari script.

6. District Health Education and Information Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Soci­ol­o­gy or Social Science.
  • Post­grad­u­ate Diplo­ma in Health Education.

7. Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar, Cooperative

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Sci­ence, Com­merce or Agriculture.
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Hin­di writ­ten in Devana­gari script.

8. District Audit Officer / Assistant Director, Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Hin­di writ­ten in Devana­gari script.

9. Assistant Labour Commissioner

A Master’s Degree in one of the fol­low­ing subjects:

  • Eco­nom­ics
  • Soci­ol­o­gy
  • Com­merce
  • Law

  • Social Work

10. Assistant Commissioner, Industries

11. Assistant Research Officer

  • Master’s Degree in Chem­istry, Phys­i­cal Chem­istry, Organ­ic Chem­istry or Ana­lyt­i­cal Chemistry.

12. Assistant Prosecution Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, either three-year or five-year LLB.
  • Work­ing knowl­edge of Hin­di writ­ten in Devana­gari script.

13. Technical Assistant, Chemistry

  • Master’s Degree in Chem­istry with at least 50% marks.

How to Apply for UPPSC PCS, ACF and RFO Recruitment 2025

The One Time Reg­is­tra­tion (OTR) sys­tem is applic­a­ble for UPPSC recruit­ment. Can­di­dates were required to com­plete OTR before sub­mit­ting the appli­ca­tion form.

Appli­cants should fol­low these steps:

  1. Com­plete the UPPSC One Time Reg­is­tra­tion process.
  2. Read the recruit­ment noti­fi­ca­tion carefully.
  3. Check the required edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion, age lim­it and oth­er conditions.
