The Join Indi­an Army (Bhar­tiya Sena) has released the short noti­fi­ca­tion for the SSC Tech­ni­cal 68th Men Course (April 2027 Batch). Through this recruit­ment dri­ve, the Indi­an Army will fill 350 ten­ta­tive vacan­cies in var­i­ous engi­neer­ing dis­ci­plines under the Short Ser­vice Com­mis­sion (Tech­ni­cal) entry.

The online appli­ca­tion process will begin on 09 July 2026 and the last date to sub­mit the appli­ca­tion form is 07 August 2026. Eli­gi­ble engi­neer­ing grad­u­ates who wish to serve as offi­cers in the Indi­an Army are advised to read the detailed noti­fi­ca­tion care­ful­ly before apply­ing online.

There is no appli­ca­tion fee for can­di­dates of any category.

Age Limit (As on 01 April 2027)

• Min­i­mum Age: 20 Years
• Max­i­mum Age: 27 Years
• Can­di­dates should be born between 01 April 2000 and 31 March 2007 (both dates inclusive).
• Max­i­mum Age for Wid­ows of Defence Per­son­nel: 35 Years.

Age relax­ation will be applic­a­ble as per Indi­an Army recruit­ment rules.

Educational Qualification

Can­di­dates must pos­sess a Bach­e­lor’s Degree in Engi­neer­ing (B.E./B.Tech) in the rel­e­vant engi­neer­ing dis­ci­pline from a rec­og­nized uni­ver­si­ty or institution.

Appli­cants who are in the final year of their engi­neer­ing course may also be eli­gi­ble as per the con­di­tions men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.
