Eligibility Criteria

Can­di­dates must have passed or be appear­ing in Class 12 (10+2) with the fol­low­ing sub­jects from a rec­og­nized board:

• Physics
• Chem­istry
• Biol­o­gy / Biotechnology
• Eng­lish

Can­di­dates should refer to the offi­cial infor­ma­tion bul­letin for com­plete eli­gi­bil­i­ty details and code-wise qual­i­fi­ca­tion requirements.

Age Limit

• Min­i­mum Age: 17 Years
• Max­i­mum Age: No Upper Age Limit
• Can­di­dates should be born on or before 31 Decem­ber 2009.

Age relax­ation is applic­a­ble as per NTA and Gov­ern­ment rules.

NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Codes

Appli­cants can apply under the fol­low­ing eli­gi­bil­i­ty codes, depend­ing on their aca­d­e­m­ic qualification:

• Code 01: Appear­ing in Class 12 exam­i­na­tion in 2026.
• Code 02: Passed 10+2 or equiv­a­lent with Physics, Chem­istry, Biology/Biotechnology, Eng­lish and prac­ti­cal subjects.
• Code 03: Passed Inter­me­di­ate/Pre-Degree Sci­ence Exam­i­na­tion with required subjects.
• Code 04: Passed Pre-Med­ical/Pre-Pro­fes­sion­al Exam­i­na­tion after High­er Secondary.
• Code 05: Com­plet­ed the first year of a rec­og­nized uni­ver­si­ty degree with PCB subjects.
• Code 06: Passed B.Sc. with required sci­ence sub­jects and ful­filled pre­vi­ous edu­ca­tion­al qualifications.
• Code 07: Passed any oth­er equiv­a­lent exam­i­na­tion rec­og­nized as equiv­a­lent to 10+2 with Physics, Chem­istry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.

Can­di­dates should ver­i­fy the detailed eli­gi­bil­i­ty cri­te­ria in the offi­cial infor­ma­tion brochure before par­tic­i­pat­ing in counselling.

• Aad­haar Card is rec­om­mend­ed for iden­ti­ty ver­i­fi­ca­tion dur­ing the admis­sion process.
• Can­di­dates should care­ful­ly ver­i­fy all per­son­al details men­tioned in the scorecard.
• Keep mul­ti­ple print­ed copies of the result and admit card for counselling.
• Down­load and pre­serve the Final Answer Key and OMR Response Sheet for future reference.
