Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 Online Form – Apply for Primary & Junior Level

The Uttarak­hand Board of School Edu­ca­tion (UBSE) has released the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for the Uttarak­hand Teacher Eli­gi­bil­i­ty Test (UTET) 2026. Can­di­dates who wish to become eli­gi­ble for teach­ing Class­es I to V (Pri­ma­ry Lev­el) and Class­es VI to VIII (Junior Lev­el) in Uttarak­hand schools can sub­mit their online appli­ca­tions from 14 July 2026 to 03 August 2026.

UTET 2026 Eligibility

Primary Level (Class I to V)

Can­di­dates must sat­is­fy any one of the fol­low­ing eli­gi­bil­i­ty conditions:

  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 2‑Year Diplo­ma in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion (D.El.Ed./BTC).
  • Passed 10+2 with 45% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 2‑Year Diplo­ma in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion as per NCTE Reg­u­la­tions 2002.
  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 4‑Year Bach­e­lor of Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion (B.El.Ed.).
  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 2‑Year Diplo­ma in Edu­ca­tion (Spe­cial Edu­ca­tion).
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 2‑Year Diplo­ma in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion.
  • IGNOU D.El.Ed. qual­i­fied Shik­sha Mitra can­di­dates are also eligible.
  • In-ser­vice teach­ers teach­ing Class­es I to V are also eligible.

Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)

Can­di­dates must ful­fill any one of the fol­low­ing conditions:

  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with com­plet­ed or appear­ing in the final year of 2‑Year Diplo­ma in Ele­men­tary Edu­ca­tion.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shas­tri.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 45% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in B.Ed. as per NCTE regulations.
  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in 4‑Year B.El.Ed.
  • Passed 10+2 with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in 4‑Year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in B.Ed. (Spe­cial Edu­ca­tion).
  • Grad­u­a­tion or Post Grad­u­a­tion with 50% marks and com­plet­ed or appear­ing in B.Ed. (sub­ject to NCTE guidelines).

  2. Com­plete the online registration.
  3. Fill in all per­son­al, edu­ca­tion­al, and com­mu­ni­ca­tion details.
  4. Upload the required pho­to­graph, sig­na­ture, and nec­es­sary documents.
  5. Pay the appli­ca­tion fee through the avail­able pay­ment modes.
  6. Ver­i­fy all infor­ma­tion care­ful­ly before final submission.
  7. Sub­mit the appli­ca­tion form.
  8. Down­load and print the final sub­mit­ted appli­ca­tion form for future reference.

Selection Process

The UTET 2026 qual­i­fi­ca­tion is based on the writ­ten eli­gi­bil­i­ty exam­i­na­tion con­duct­ed by UBSE. Can­di­dates secur­ing the pre­scribed qual­i­fy­ing marks will be award­ed the UTET Eli­gi­bil­i­ty Cer­tifi­cate as per the applic­a­ble rules.
