The Bar Coun­cil of India (BCI) has start­ed the online appli­ca­tion process for the 22nd All India Bar Exam­i­na­tion (AIBE XXII) 2026. Eli­gi­ble law grad­u­ates and can­di­dates who meet the AIBE require­ments can sub­mit their appli­ca­tions online from 19 August 2026 to 27 Octo­ber 2026.

AIBE XXII 2026 Age Limit

There is no upper age lim­it for appear­ing in the All India Bar Exam­i­na­tion, sub­ject to ful­fill­ing the pre­scribed eli­gi­bil­i­ty conditions.

AIBE XXII 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Can­di­dates should have the required law qual­i­fi­ca­tion from a rec­og­nized institution/university and ful­fill the con­di­tions pre­scribed by the Bar Coun­cil of India.

Educational Qualification

• Can­di­dates should pos­sess an eli­gi­ble LL.B. degree, either a 3‑year or 5‑year law degree, as applicable.
• The law qual­i­fi­ca­tion must be from a rec­og­nized institution/university.
• Can­di­dates should also ful­fill the applic­a­ble enroll­ment require­ments pre­scribed for AIBE.
• Cat­e­go­ry-wise qual­i­fy­ing require­ments, where applic­a­ble, should be checked in the offi­cial notification.

AIBE 22 Exam 2026 – Documents Required

Can­di­dates should keep the fol­low­ing doc­u­ments ready before com­plet­ing the online application:

• Class 10th certificate/marksheet
• Class 12th certificate/marksheet or equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion document
• LL.B. degree cer­tifi­cate or rel­e­vant law qual­i­fi­ca­tion document
• Pass­port-size photograph
• Can­di­date’s signature
• Enroll­ment certificate
