The Union Pub­lic Ser­vice Com­mis­sion (UPSC) has released the noti­fi­ca­tion for the Nation­al Defence Acad­e­my (NDA) and Naval Acad­e­my (NA) Exam­i­na­tion II 2026. This exam­i­na­tion is con­duct­ed for admis­sion to the NDA and Naval Acad­e­my train­ing pro­grammes for eli­gi­ble can­di­dates seek­ing a career in the Indi­an Armed Forces.

The online appli­ca­tion process was con­duct­ed from 20 May 2026 to 11 June 2026. Can­di­dates who suc­cess­ful­ly applied should note that the UPSC NDA & NA II 2026 exam­i­na­tion is sched­uled for 13 Sep­tem­ber 2026.

A total of 394 vacan­cies are avail­able across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Acad­e­my. UPSC NDA II Eligibility 2026

Army Wing

Can­di­dates must have:

• Passed or be appear­ing in the 10+2 Inter­me­di­ate exam­i­na­tion from a rec­og­nized board in India.

Air Force & Naval Wings

Can­di­dates must have:

• Passed or be appear­ing in the 10+2 exam­i­na­tion with Physics and Math­e­mat­ics as subjects.

Can­di­dates should check the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for com­plete edu­ca­tion­al and oth­er eli­gi­bil­i­ty requirements.

UPSC NDA II Age Limit 2026

As per the pro­vid­ed noti­fi­ca­tion details:

• Can­di­date should not be born before 01 Jan­u­ary 2008.
• Can­di­date should not be born after 01 Jan­u­ary 2011.
