SSC Stenographer 2026 Application Fee

The exam­i­na­tion fee can be paid through the pay­ment modes per­mit­ted by SSC, such as Deb­it Card, Cred­it Card, Net Bank­ing or E‑Challan, as applicable.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Age Limit 2026

Age Lim­it as on 01 August 2026:

• Min­i­mum Age: 18 Years
• Max­i­mum Age for Grade D: 27 Years
• Max­i­mum Age for Grade C: 30 Years

SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2026

Educational Qualification

Can­di­dates apply­ing for SSC Stenog­ra­ph­er Grade C and Grade D Recruit­ment 2026 should have:

• Passed the 10+2 Inter­me­di­ate / High­er Sec­ondary Exam­i­na­tion from a rec­og­nized board.
• Can­di­dates must also ful­fill the required stenog­ra­phy skill require­ments pre­scribed by SSC.

Stenography Skill Test

Can­di­dates short­list­ed for the skill test are required to meet the pre­scribed stenog­ra­phy speed and tran­scrip­tion requirements.

Grade D:

• Eng­lish tran­scrip­tion: 50 min­utes
• Hin­di tran­scrip­tion: 65 min­utes

Grade C:

• Eng­lish tran­scrip­tion: 40 min­utes
• Hin­di tran­scrip­tion: 55 min­utes
