The Indi­an Insti­tute of Tech­nol­o­gy (IIT) Madras has released the Infor­ma­tion Brochure for the Grad­u­ate Apti­tude Test in Engi­neer­ing (GATE) 2027. GATE 2027 is a nation­al-lev­el exam­i­na­tion con­duct­ed for admis­sion to M.E., M.Tech, Ph.D. pro­grams and for recruit­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties in var­i­ous Pub­lic Sec­tor Under­tak­ings (PSUs).

Can­di­dates who meet the eli­gi­bil­i­ty cri­te­ria can sub­mit their online appli­ca­tions from 14 August 2026 to 21 Sep­tem­ber 2026 with­out a late fee. Appli­ca­tions will also be accept­ed with a late fee until 30 Sep­tem­ber 2026. 1. Vis­it the offi­cial GATE 2027 appli­ca­tion portal.
2. Reg­is­ter using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in your per­son­al, aca­d­e­m­ic, and exam­i­na­tion details.
4. Select your pre­ferred exam­i­na­tion paper and exam city.
5. Upload the required pho­to­graph, sig­na­ture, and sup­port­ing documents.
6. Pay the appli­ca­tion fee through the online pay­ment gateway.
7. Ver­i­fy all entered infor­ma­tion carefully.
8. Sub­mit the appli­ca­tion form.
9. Down­load and print the con­fir­ma­tion page for future reference.
