The recruit­ment dri­ve aims to fill 929 Assis­tant Sta­tis­ti­cal Offi­cer (ASO) vacan­cies across var­i­ous categories.

The online appli­ca­tion process was con­duct­ed from 21 April 2026 to 15 May 2026 (extend­ed). Can­di­dates who have suc­cess­ful­ly qual­i­fied for the mains stage can now com­plete the Mains Exam Fee Pay­ment from 02 July 2026.

The recruit­ment is being con­duct­ed under Adver­tise­ment No. 05 Exam 2026. Appli­cants are advised to check the com­plete noti­fi­ca­tion, eli­gi­bil­i­ty cri­te­ria, exam sched­ule, and fee pay­ment instruc­tions before proceeding.

Can­di­dates must ful­fill the fol­low­ing eli­gi­bil­i­ty conditions:

• Must pos­sess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Score Card.
• Must have a Mas­ter’s Degree in any one of the fol­low­ing sub­jects from a rec­og­nized university: 
  • Math­e­mat­ics
  • Math­e­mat­i­cal Statistics
  • Sta­tis­tics
  • Eco­nom­ics
  • Com­merce
• Must pos­sess an O Lev­el Com­put­er Cer­tifi­cate or an equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion rec­og­nized by the Government.
