The Uttar Pradesh Sub­or­di­nate Ser­vices Selec­tion Com­mis­sion (UPSSSC) has released the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for the recruit­ment of Vid­han Bhawan Rak­shak (Guard) and Fire Guard posts. A total of 170 vacan­cies have been announced under Adver­tise­ment No. 09 Exam 2026. Can­di­dates look­ing for gov­ern­ment jobs in Uttar Pradesh can sub­mit their online appli­ca­tions from 09 June 2026 to 29 June 2026.

Educational Qualification

Vidhan Bhawan Rakshak (Guard)

Can­di­dates must possess:

• A valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Score Card.
• Inter­me­di­ate (10+2) qual­i­fi­ca­tion from a rec­og­nized board.
• Basic com­put­er knowl­edge (O‑Level or equiv­a­lent qual­i­fi­ca­tion is preferred).
• Eli­gi­bil­i­ty as pre­scribed under the Uttar Pradesh Sec­re­tari­at Secu­ri­ty and Fire Ser­vice Rules.

Pref­er­ence will be giv­en to can­di­dates who have com­plet­ed at least two years of ser­vice in the Ter­ri­to­r­i­al Army or hold an NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

Fire Guard

Can­di­dates must ful­fill the edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tions and eli­gi­bil­i­ty con­di­tions men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.

Selection Process

The selec­tion process will be con­duct­ed in mul­ti­ple stages:

1. Short­list­ing based on UPSSSC PET 2025 Score.
2. Writ­ten Examination.
3. Phys­i­cal Mea­sure­ment Test (PMT).
4. Phys­i­cal Stan­dard Test (PST).
5. Doc­u­ment Verification.
