UPTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (Class I‑V)

Can­di­dates should ful­fill any one of the fol­low­ing conditions:

  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with D.El.Ed (passed or final year appearing).
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or Mas­ter’s Degree along with B.Ed (passed/appearing).
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 45% marks and B.Ed as per NCTE norms.
  • 10+2 with at least 50% marks and four-year B.El.Ed course.
  • Can­di­dates should refer to the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for com­plete eli­gi­bil­i­ty details.

Junior Level (Class VI-VIII)

Appli­cants should sat­is­fy any one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed/B.Ed Spe­cial Education.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with two-year BTC training.
  • 10+2 with 50% marks and four-year B.El.Ed.
  • 10+2 with 50% marks and B.Sc.Ed.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 45% marks and B.Ed as per NCTE guidelines.
  • Read the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for com­plete eli­gi­bil­i­ty conditions.
