Bihar BPSC School Teacher TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026 – OTR Registration Started for 32,388 Posts

The Bihar Pub­lic Ser­vice Com­mis­sion (BPSC) has announced the School Teacher TRE 4.0 Recruit­ment 2026 for 32,388 teach­ing vacan­cies in var­i­ous gov­ern­ment schools across Bihar. The recruit­ment includes Pri­ma­ry Teacher (Class 1–5), Mid­dle School Teacher (Class 6–8), TGT (Class 9–10), PGT (Class 11–12), and Spe­cial School Teacher posts under the Edu­ca­tion Depart­ment and SC & ST Wel­fare Depart­ment.

Educational Qualification

Primary Teacher (Class 1–5)

Can­di­dates should pos­sess any one of the following:

  • Senior Sec­ondary with 50% Marks and 2‑Year D.El.Ed.
  • Senior Sec­ondary with 45% Marks and D.El.Ed. (NCTE Norms)
  • Senior Sec­ondary with 50% Marks and 4‑Year B.El.Ed.
  • Senior Sec­ondary with 50% Marks and Spe­cial D.El.Ed.
  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with 2‑Year D.El.Ed.

Must have qual­i­fied CTET/BTET Paper‑I.


Middle School Teacher (Class 6–8)

Appli­cants should have:

  • Bach­e­lor’s Degree with D.El.Ed.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with B.Ed.
  • BA B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed.
  • B.Ed. (Spe­cial Education)
  • Inte­grat­ed B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Must have qual­i­fied CTET/BTET Paper-II.


TGT Teacher (Class 9–10)

  • Bach­e­lor’s or Mas­ter’s Degree in the rel­e­vant subject.
  • B.Ed. or Inte­grat­ed BA B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.
  • Min­i­mum qual­i­fy­ing marks as per BPSC notification.

STET Paper‑I must be qualified.


Special School Teacher (Class 9–10)

Edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tions are sim­i­lar to TGT Teacher posts.

STET Paper‑I qual­i­fi­ca­tion is mandatory.


PGT Teacher (Class 11–12)

  • Mas­ter’s Degree in the rel­e­vant subject.
  • B.Ed. or Inte­grat­ed Teacher Edu­ca­tion qualification.
  • Qual­i­fi­ca­tion should meet the per­cent­age cri­te­ria men­tioned in the offi­cial notification.

STET Paper-II must be qualified.


Important Instructions

  • Com­plete your BPSC One Time Reg­is­tra­tion (OTR) before the appli­ca­tion win­dow opens.
  • Can­di­dates appear­ing in CTET/STET are not eli­gi­ble to apply.
  • Bihar STET can­di­dates should enter their BSEB Unique ID instead of the STET Result Card Number.
  • CTET can­di­dates must enter the cer­tifi­cate ser­i­al num­ber men­tioned on their mark sheet/certificate.
  • There is no need to send the print­ed appli­ca­tion form to BPSC.
  • Read the com­plete noti­fi­ca­tion before sub­mit­ting the application.
