Indian Economic Service (IES)

Can­di­dates should have a Post­grad­u­ate / Mas­ter’s degree in Eco­nom­ics, Applied Eco­nom­ics, Busi­ness Eco­nom­ics or Econo­met­rics from a rec­og­nized uni­ver­si­ty or institution.

Indian Statistical Service (ISS)

Can­di­dates should have a Bach­e­lor’s degree with Sta­tis­tics, Math­e­mat­i­cal Sta­tis­tics or Applied Sta­tis­tics as one of the sub­jects, or a Mas­ter’s degree in Sta­tis­tics, Math­e­mat­i­cal Sta­tis­tics or Applied Statistics.

UPSC IES / ISS Selection Process

The recruit­ment process gen­er­al­ly con­sists of:

  2. Viva-Voce / Interview
  3. Final Mer­it List
