CLAT 2026 Online Form – Apply Online for Common Law Admission Test (UG & PG)

The Con­sor­tium of Nation­al Law Uni­ver­si­ties (NLUs) has released the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for the Com­mon Law Admis­sion Test (CLAT) 2026. CLAT is a nation­al-lev­el entrance exam­i­na­tion con­duct­ed for admis­sion to Under­grad­u­ate (UG) and Post­grad­u­ate (PG) law pro­grammes offered by par­tic­i­pat­ing Nation­al Law Uni­ver­si­ties across India.

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

CLAT UG (5‑Year Integrated LL.B.)

Can­di­dates must have:

  • Passed or appeared in Class 12 (Inter­me­di­ate) from a rec­og­nized board.
  • General/OBC: Min­i­mum 45% marks
  • SC/ST: Min­i­mum 40% marks

Note: Can­di­dates appear­ing in the qual­i­fy­ing exam­i­na­tion are also eli­gi­ble to apply.


CLAT PG (LL.M.)

Can­di­dates must possess:

  • LL.B. Degree from a rec­og­nized university.

Min­i­mum Marks Required:

  • General/OBC: 55%
  • SC/ST: 50%

Can­di­dates appear­ing in the final year of LL.B. are also eli­gi­ble to apply.


Age Limit

There is no upper age lim­it for appear­ing in CLAT 2026. Can­di­dates should sat­is­fy the edu­ca­tion­al qual­i­fi­ca­tion pre­scribed for the respec­tive programme.

Can­di­dates can com­plete the appli­ca­tion process by fol­low­ing these steps:

  2. Reg­is­ter using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Fill in all per­son­al, edu­ca­tion­al, and com­mu­ni­ca­tion details carefully.
  4. Upload the required scanned doc­u­ments, pho­to­graph, sig­na­ture, and certificates.
  5. Pay the appli­ca­tion fee through the avail­able online pay­ment options.
