📌 About CM SHRI Schools

The Gov­ern­ment of NCT Del­hi estab­lished 75 CM SHRI Schools dur­ing ses­sion 2025–26. These schools are declared as Spec­i­fied Cat­e­go­ry Schools under Sec­tion 2℗ of RTE Act 2009.

These schools:

  • Are affil­i­at­ed with CBSE
  • Fol­low NEP 2020
  • Focus on excel­lence and equity
  • Pro­vide mod­ern infra­struc­ture and advanced learning

Admis­sion will be grant­ed through a mer­it-based entrance test called:

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Stu­dents must ful­fill the fol­low­ing conditions:

✔ Residence

  • Must be a res­i­dent of Delhi

✔ Educational Qualification

  • For Class 6: Passed Class V (2025–26)
  • For Class 9: Passed Class VIII (2025–26)
  • For Class 11: Passed Class X (2025–26)
  • From a rec­og­nized school locat­ed in Delhi

🎯 Reservation Policy

  • At least 50% seats reserved for Gov­ern­ment school stu­dents
    (DoE, MCD, NDMC, KVs, JNVs, Govt-aid­ed schools in Delhi)

Class 6

  • Select 2 schools
  • School allot­ted only if cut­off is cleared
  • No trans­fer allowed

Class 9

  • Select 3 schools

  • Allot­ment based on score + cat­e­go­ry + preference

Class 11

  • Select 3 schools
  • Choose stream preference
  • No stream change after allotment

⚠ Once allot­ted, no trans­fer request will be accepted.

  • HE21CS (STEM)
  • HE21CS (Finance)
  • Human­i­ties
  • PVA (Visu­al Arts / Per­form­ing Arts / Film Mak­ing & Media)

Not all schools offer all streams.

  • Total Schools: 75
  • Most schools have: 
    • 35 or 105 seats in Class 6
    • Lim­it­ed seats in Class 9
    • Select­ed schools offer Class 11

Sev­er­al new­ly added CM SHRI Schools have vacan­cies only in Class 6.

Stu­dents should care­ful­ly check stream avail­abil­i­ty before select­ing preferences.
