The recruit­ment process is being con­duct­ed for 4,361 Dri­ver Con­sta­ble posts. Can­di­dates who qual­i­fied in the ear­li­er stages will be eli­gi­ble to appear in the Dri­ving Effi­cien­cy Test (DET).

As per the avail­able sched­ule, the Bihar Police Dri­ver DET will be con­duct­ed on 24 August 2026, while the DET Admit Card is sched­uled to be avail­able from 10 August 2026.

Can­di­dates can down­load their admit card through the offi­cial CSBC web­site using the required login details. Can­di­dates should car­ry a print­ed copy of the admit card and oth­er required doc­u­ments to the exam­i­na­tion venue.

Bihar Police Driver Constable – Educational Qualification

Can­di­dates were required to ful­fill the fol­low­ing conditions:

• Must have passed Class 12th / Inter­me­di­ate (10+2) or an equiv­a­lent exam­i­na­tion from a rec­og­nized board.
• Must pos­sess a valid Light Motor Vehi­cle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehi­cle (HMV) dri­ving licence.
• The dri­ving licence should have been issued at least one year before 17 July 2025, as pre­scribed in the recruit­ment notification.

Can­di­dates should refer to the offi­cial noti­fi­ca­tion for com­plete eli­gi­bil­i­ty conditions.

Bihar Police Driver Constable 2025 – Age Limit

The age lim­it was cal­cu­lat­ed as on 20 August 2025.

• UR Male: 20 to 25 Years
• BC/EBC Male: 20 to 27 Years
• BC/EBC Female: 20 to 28 Years
• SC/ST Male & Female: 20 to 30 Years

Age relax­ation is applic­a­ble to eli­gi­ble cat­e­gories accord­ing to the CSBC recruit­ment rules.

How to Download Bihar Police Driver DET Admit Card 2026

Can­di­dates can fol­low these steps to down­load their Dri­ving Effi­cien­cy Test admit card:

1. Vis­it the offi­cial CSBC Bihar web­site.
2. Open the Results / Noti­fi­ca­tions section.
3. Find the noti­fi­ca­tion relat­ed to Bihar Police Dri­ver Con­sta­ble DET Admit Card 2026.
4. Click on the admit card down­load link.
5. Enter the required reg­is­tra­tion or login details, if asked.
6. Sub­mit the details.
7. Your DET admit card will appear on the screen.
8. Down­load and save the admit card.
9. Take a clear print­out to car­ry to the DET venue.

Can­di­dates should care­ful­ly check the admit card for their name, roll num­ber, exam­i­na­tion date, report­ing time, venue and oth­er instruc­tions. If any dis­crep­an­cy is found, con­tact the con­cerned author­i­ty before the examination.
