Parivahan : New Learning Driving License Process

In India Learning License is compulsory before getting valid Driving License, therefore everyone must have to apply first Learning License and then hard copy of license. In a learning you must have to give test on computer about their symbols or rules given by Government of India. Here below we have provied complete procedures how you can easily get the learning licence from Parivahan Portal.

Important Documents Required for Learning Driving License

• Aad­har
  • Appli­cants using Aad­haar num­ber can take the test from their home or any pre­ferred loca­tion and obtain e‑Learner license instantly.
• Appli­cant with­out Aadhaar
  • Appli­cant with­out Aad­haar can apply online. Please vis­it MLO, Mall Road Office and take the test physically.
    • Vot­er Card, Pan Card, Bank Pass­book and oth­er valid res­i­dents proof.

Learning License Fees

• Two Wheel­er Vehilces : Rs. 500
• Four Wheel­er Vehi­cles : Rs. 950

Validity of Learning License

Learn­ing License is valid upto 6 months after the date of issue of learning.

Steps to Online Apply

1. Vis­it Pari­va­han Main Por­tal Click Here
2. Scroll on Online Ser­vices -> Dri­ving License Relat­ed Ser­vices as shown in screenshot

3. Select State where you want to apply with valid res­i­den­tial address proof.

4. Move to Menu : Learn­er Ser­vices -> Appli­ca­tion for New Learn­er License

5. Read Care­ful­ly Instruc­tions giv­en below and also in attached screen­shot.

Fol­low­ing are the stages of appli­ca­tion for apply­ing learn­ers licence, fol­low giv­en process care­ful­ly while applying.

1. FILL APPLICATION DETAILS LL
2. UPLOAD DOCUMENTS
3. UPLOAD PHOTO AND SIGNATURE (In case of eKYC through Aad­haar, only Sig­na­ture need to be uploaded)
4. E‑SIGN DOCUMENT
5. FEE PAYMENT
6. VERIFY THE PAYMENT STATUS
7. LL SLOT BOOK (Only applic­a­ble for non eKYC appli­ca­tions with­out Aadhaar)
8. TAKE THE LL TEST

6. Now Appli­ca­tion Pro­ceed Choose Cat­e­go­ry by deaulft it is Gen­er­al, change if it is required. And Choose Option First where writ­ten — Appli­cant does not hold any Driving/Learner licence issued in India for Fresh Learn­ing License.

7. Read Impor­tant Instruc­tions as giv­en below before pro­ceed­ing Authen­ti­ca­tion with E‑Kyc.

Appli­cants using Aad­haar authen­ti­ca­tion can take the LL Test from their home or any pre­ferred loca­tion, no need to vis­it RTO. Pass­word for Online LL Test will be sent as SMS to the reg­is­tered mobile num­ber linked with Aad­haar. Suc­cess­ful appli­cant can down­load his/her Learn­er License.

Choose Option A : Sub­mit via Aad­haar Authentication

Appli­cant with­out Aad­haar can apply online.Please vis­it MLO, Mall Road Office and take the test physically.

Choose Option B : Sub­mit with­out Aad­haar Authentication

Now Final­ly all impor­tant steps com­plet­ed, you can now go fur­ther by fol­low­ing steps as arriv­ing after aad­haar authen­ti­ca­tion process or with­out authentication.
